The Middle Rogue River is the steelheader’s playground. We like to call it the “Training Ground”. The diversity of water within the Middle Rogue will help any angler to open their eyes to the possibilities of where fish travel and rest. The Middle has many types of water to fish. There are long chunky, bouldery, swift flowing runs much like the Deschutes River, and endless gradual sloping gravel bars that make you feel like you are on the Olympic Peninsula. There too are deep troughs with volcanic ledges much like the famed North Umpqua, along with the Rogue’s own unique characteristics. There is such a variety of water you can be certain that after fishing with us on the Middle Rogue you will have the knowledge to feel confident in finding steelhead on any river system.
